...so, these are just a few to keep you image hungry people satisfied. There are of course about a million more, including the 'proper' pictures done on Steve's camera. We'll have to work out a good way of making them accessible to people to get copies etc - all in good time though!
I've just about sorted out the hundreds of digi photos we have from the holiday and anyone really short of a social life in the Brighton area is welcome to come over and see them...cushion and alcohol recommended.

Just a quick thanks to everyone who's been asking what we would like as a gift. Having only just landed in the flat we really don't know what we need at the moment.
If you do want to give something (and it really isn't a requirement!), we are in no rush and are happy to wait until things have settled down a bit: then we can give it some proper thought and confer with you in person.
It still also stands that we would be very happy to have vouchers for Habitat or Ikea (or anywhere we can get bits for the house).

You'll all be glad to know that we are finally in our new flat now! We moved on Saturday (6 days after returning to the UK!!), and are just starting to get things sorted.
It hasn't left much time for circulating pictures, but rest assured you will see them at the party, and we will post some on the internet for those who can't make it just as soon as we have 5 minutes!!
Canada was amazing, and we will have such lovely memories of the trip (to go with the hundreds of pictures!). Everything went very smoothly and our wedding day was just perfect!
We can't wait now to raise a glass with everyone at the party on Saturday - we look forward to seeing you there!

Well, after many months of planning we are now counting down the last few days before we jet off to Canada. Our friends in Brighton threw us a lovely party on Saturday, with cake and bubbly and everything - we were very flattered and happy to catch up with everyone before we go.
We fly out on Thursday lunchtime - and you will be pleased to know that we hope to have exchanged by then, and are aiming to move the weekend after we get back - talk about timing!!
Anyway, this will be the last post before the off, so we send our love to all of you and look forward to seeing you for the reception with your dancing shoes on!!

I've just been updating the Visiting the Midlands links (on the left of this page) - honestly, if you haven't been up before you should really try and get to at least one of these things while you're there - or at least drive out into some of the lovely surrounding countryside. Don't miss out, there are some absolute gems!

It's now just over three weeks until we fly out for the wedding - we are getting really excited, as are those friends who are flying out with us (Zoe & Steve).
On the downside, we still haven't moved - it's a long story but basically we're half packed and crossing our fingers for things to get resolved before we go away (16 working days and counting, ahem...)
Plans at the party venue have changed a bit in that we're going to be in their bigger room, so plenty of room to throw shapes on the dancefloor. We are particularly looking forward to trying what sounds like a lethal house punch on arrival...hold onto your hats!

Time marches on and many of you are thinking about booking hotels to stay for the Wolves do.
Have managed to find out (thanks to our ever helpful local experts!) that there is a spanking new Premier Travel Inn (Wolverhampton Bluebricks) very close to the main railway station which will set you back £52 a night.
This is about 2.5 miles/7 minutes in a car from the reception venue. I would recommend this over the various slightly cheaper but BAAAAADLY reviewed independents in the area.
I have just checked and there are plenty rooms available at the moment....enjoy!

Cripes, it's Easter already! And sadly there is very little to report from this end. The flat is still going through, albeit veeeery sloooooooowly. At least it means we can chill out over the Easter break though.
RSVPs for the party are trickling in, and people are starting to make their travel and accomodation plans from far flung corners of the UK and beyond. Feel free to drop us a line if you need any help with finding a place to stay.
We've been making a few more plans for our trip to Canada and have booked a motorhome for a few days after the wedding and a nice hotel in Vancouver for a few days on the way home.
Everyone please cross fingers that the flat purchase goes through OK - I want to feel those positive vibes!
Happy Easter all!
A few people have asked what we are doing about presents...
Well, we should have moved into our first (owned) home not too long before the wedding, so money towards the new kitchen fund (and similar future endeavours!) would be very welcome, as would vouchers for Ikea or Habitat.
However, it is by no means compulsory to give anything at all! We are not a young couple in need of everything from cutlery to blankets, fondu sets and pillow cases ;) Whilst presents will be gratefully recieved, your presence (at whichever event) will be present enough.

Well, a big UK wedding AND a honeymoon wasn't really an option - not to mention the fact that our somewhat complex family groupings don't lend themselves to a traditional 'big day'!
So, we settled fairly early on on leaving the country for the main event and having a party when we get back.
Neither of us do very well in the heat, and I didn't really fancy sunburn and mossie bites as key features of my wedding 'look', so we've chosen a place with a cooler climate that offers lots of outdoor activities, great food and wine and classy accommodation - the West Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

So this is our attempt to keep everyone up to date with what's going on with us in 2007 and to answer some of the questions we keep getting asked!
Hopefully you know that we're getting married in Canada in September - and in case that wasn't keeping us quite busy enough we're also in the process of buying a flat - phew!
